NEWPORT News, Va. (WAVY) — Newport News is launching a grant system for local community-based corporations seeking to lessen gun violence.

The grant program is component of the city’s Gun Violence Intervention initiative awarding organizations that offer packages, initiatives, or techniques to lower gun violence in the region.

Companies trying to find to apply for the grant ought to have assignments must support 1 of the next targets and objectives:

CNU will release the conclusions from the survey this summer months.
