Ferretti’s does not believe that luxury and technology are mutually special.
Witness the Italian outfit’s new Ferretti 860, which strike the seas on Wednesday just eight months right after it was introduced. The luxury yacht, which spans 88 feet from tip to tail, combines basic “Made in Italy” design and style with fashionable tech and engineering.

Commissioned by an Italian owner with an affinity for modern day style, the vessel is the third Ferretti design created in partnership with Filippo Salvetti and Ideaeitalia. The exterior, which was spearheaded by Salvetti, sporting activities clear traces and a partially open up flybridge.
The inside, in the meantime, was introduced to lifetime by Ideaeitalia and can take cues from the Artwork Deco aesthetic. The proprietor opted for the Vintage Mood inside deal that includes a palette of heat, darkish hues with bold contrasts. Ferretti claims this color plan assists highlight the yacht’s outstanding dimensions. (There are no pictures but to see if that’s in fact the case.)
The correct structure is but to be verified, but the conventional configuration sees 3 double cabins on the reduce deck, a grasp suite amidships and crew cabins ahead. There is also a significant spiral staircase linking the most important deck to the decrease deck.
Transferring outside, the aft deck comes fitted with a big lounge, although the flybridge is home to the helm station, bar and L-formed sofa. At the bow, there is a third alfresco lounge.
As for power, the Ferretti 860 features two propulsion deals. You can opt for a pair of Man V-12 2000 engines that give the vessel a prime pace of 32 knots and a cruising speed of 27 knots. Alternatively, a pair of Male V-12 1800 engines permit a best pace of 28 knots and a cruising velocity of 24 knots.
Immediately after her maiden cruise in the Mediterranean, the yacht will be just one of the stars at the Ferretti Group Non-public Preview in Monte Carlo. She will then make her world debut at the Cannes Boat Display in September 2022.
